Getting Started with Kivio + Klaviyo

Connect your Klaviyo account and export your first AMP email in minutes.

Overview

Kivio is an AMP email builder that connects directly to your Klaviyo account. Once connected, you can build interactive AMP email templates in Kivio and push them straight into your Klaviyo template library — no copy-paste, no manual HTML upload.

Step 1 — Install from the Klaviyo Marketplace

  1. Find Kivio in the Klaviyo App Marketplace and click Install.
  2. You will be redirected to Kivio. If you don’t have an account yet, sign up for free — it only takes a moment.
  3. Klaviyo will ask you to authorise Kivio to access your account. Review the permissions and click Allow.
  4. You will land back in Kivio with your Klaviyo account connected and confirmed.

Step 2 — Verify the Connection

  1. In Kivio, open Integrations from the sidebar.
  2. You should see your Klaviyo account listed with a green “Connected” badge.
  3. If the badge is missing, click Connect Klaviyo and repeat the authorisation flow.

Step 3 — Build an AMP Email

  1. Click New Template from the Kivio dashboard.
  2. Use the drag-and-drop editor to design your email. You can add interactive blocks such as review forms, surveys, upsell cards, and carousels.
  3. Give your template a name, then click Save.

Step 4 — Export to Klaviyo

  1. Open the template you want to export and click the Export button in the top toolbar.
  2. In the export dialog, optionally add a preview text (preheader) and select any conversion metrics you want to track.
  3. Click Export to Klaviyo. Kivio will push the template — including the AMP version — directly into your Klaviyo template library.
  4. Switch to Klaviyo and open Content › Templates. Your template will appear there, prefixed with [Kivio Export], ready to use in any campaign or flow.

Re-exporting a Template

If you update a template in Kivio and export it again, Kivio will update the existing Klaviyo template in place. You don’t need to create a new one each time.

Disconnecting Klaviyo

To remove the integration, go to Integrations in Kivio and click Disconnectnext to your Klaviyo account. This revokes Kivio’s access without affecting your Klaviyo templates or data.
